For enhanced trading experience, AscendEX accepts LINK, BCH and DOT as multi-collateral assets for Perpetual Futures Contract starting Apr 7, 2:00 p.m. UTC, 2021. You can deposit LINK, BCH and DOT in the Futures account to be used as collateral when trading Futures, besides USDT, USDC, PAX, BTC and ETH.

AscendEX adopts Multi-Collateral Mechanism for Perpetual Futures Contracts where non-USDT assets above can be used as collateral and fee. 

Non-USDT assets above are discounted when used as collateral. The table below displays the collateral discount factor for the accepted assets.

Take LINK for example. When LINK prices at 30 USDT, a user deposits 1 LINK in his/her Futures account. Only 27 USDT (30 USDT * 0.9) can be used as collateral to calculate initial margin rate and maintenance margin rate.
