Dear AscendEX Users,  

There used to be a big difference in share/volume requirements between our VIP levels. As a result, reaching the top tier became tougher, and ultimately reduced the competition.

Today, we’re excited to announce that we will be changing our tier requirements and fee structure for perpetual futures contracts. The new structue will reduce the incremental volume share requirements between tiers and provide more opportunities to unlock lower fees while cultivating a more fair trading environment for retail as well as institutions. With this change, we hope to improve competition and create a better trading experience for our clients.

Starting on October 24th, 2022 at 2:30pm UTC, AscendEX will introduce new tiers to its VIP, and amend its fee structure. Summary of the changes:

Please note,

  1. As we prepare our infrastructure upgrades for futures trading, AscendEX will perform a necessary system maintenance for DOTUSDT, FTTUSDT, SOLUSDT, ADAUSDT, MATICUSDT, XTZUSDT, WOOUSDT, SHIBUSDT, and FIDAUSDT perpetual futures contracts starting at 2:00 a.m. UTC, Oct. 25, 2022. The upgrade will take approximately 24 hours.
  2. During this period, trading service for those perpetual futures contract will be suspended. All open orders will be canceled and open positions will be automatically settled at the mark price at 2:00 a.m. UTC, Oct. 25, 2022.
  3. The trading service for those perpetual futures contract will be resumed after the system maintenance. The specific resumption time will not be further announced, which may be prior to the maintenance schedule. Sorry for any potential inconvenience.

Important: Users are advised to close their positions before the maintenance to avoid automatic settlement.
